Meg Ramberg is the owner, co-founder and Director of Physical Therapy at Pearl River Rehab. She believes that hands-on, supervised physical therapy is the best way to offer care to her patients. Her motto, Physical Therapy With a Personal Touch, reflects this philosophy.Meg began serving the residents of Picayune and Pearl River County in 1982 as the Director of Physical Therapy at Crosby Memorial Hospital. She remained at that position until the opening of Pearl River Rehab in February 1993. In the 20 years prior to that time she practiced as a staff physical therapist and also served as guest faculty at the L.S.U. Schools of Physical Therapy and Cardiopulmonary Science, Delgado Junior College, Oschner Clinic and Dominican College Schools of Respiratory Therapy.Today, in addition to her duties at Pearl River Rehab, she serves as a Clinical Instructor for the physical therapy program at L.S.U. and the physical therapist assistant program at Pearl River Community College. When time permits, Meg enjoys "playing" with her garden at her home in Picayune. Traveling throughout our beautiful country is another favorite activity, but, unfortunately there's so much to see and so little time to see it. A recent trip to our nation's capital was inspiring.Meg is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Allied Medical Professions, and continues to update her clinical and professional education. She is currently licensed to practice in Mississippi and is a longtime member of the A.P.T.A. (American Physical Therapy Association).
